Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, several types of goods are exempt from being returned. These include:

Opened or used candles
Perishable items – fragrances
Hazardous materials or flammable liquids/gases

Candles with obvious signs of use or damage
Opened or used products that are no longer in their original condition
Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notifying you that we’ve received your returned item. We will also inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a few business days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. After that, contact your bank, as processing time may vary.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items can be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a defective or damaged candle for the same item, please send us an email at serendibscents.com.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be issued.

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will be notified about the return.

Shipping Returns

You will be responsible for covering the cost of return shipping. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and if you receive a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. For higher-value items, consider using a trackable shipping service. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
